Newbie here. Is there any way to know by using model or serial numbers where Briggs and Stratton sold engines? My friend has a 5S engine on a badge-engineered (sold by VanCamp Hardware) reel mower and would like to learn more about the company that built it. This is, we think, circa 1952.
